Autumn is trying it. But winter is rising like a bad B! . . . . . . #winterishere #autumn #seasons #weather #country #sussex
On the blog. The BEST Christmas windows has to be Fortnum & Mason. The cats are the least of it but it’s got everything with a holly jolly on top. The advent calendar of the building and that feeling it creates as we watch across the road is the cherry on top. It’s glorious and joyful. And all the cats. . . . . . . #fortnumandmason #christmaswindows #advent #London
The Holiday Windows | Selfridges It took everything not to have this be my favourite window this year but you’ll soon see why once I post my fave tomorrow but this window is splendid in its simplicity. It’s a futuristic and minimalistic approach to the season. At first I thought WTF is going on here and it took a while to get on board with the concept. But also adapting brothers Grimm tales and spinning it into a commercial story fit for a modern day but never taking away from the premise of the story is something quite interesting and genius. It’s my second favourite only by a hair. A few weeks ago this was my absolute least favourite. . . . . . . . #theholidaywindows #advent #London #selfridges #christmaswindows #minimalism #futuristic
Next up on the Blog: The Holiday Windows | Is Harvey Nics innit. Tipsy and Tinsel It’s grown folks kind of Christmas and I’m here for it. I wasn’t always here for it but having seen the other Windows and digested it; I’m here for this. You come. You eat you drink and the washing up is someone else’s problem. It took a few views for me to get into this but I get it. Sometimes you just want to aftermath to be someone else’s problem. . . . . . . . #christmas #holidaywindows #advent #harveynichols #London #knightsbridge #holidaysarecoming
The Holiday Windows | The Tree of Liberty. I didn’t like as much as I thought I did when I first saw it. Having been back to view this window it feels like a lot is going on here. It feels clogged and maybe even messy. I didn’t feel Christmas just a coagulation of stuff. And I have problems with the colour scheme. I just have a lot of conflicted feelings here. Dunno. Anyways I’m talking about these feelings on the blog today. . . . . . . #theholidaywindows #advent #christmas #London #holidaysarecoming #Liberty
