I read somewhere that having a clear out before the holidays is often always a best time because for those who cannot afford something new shop charity shops early in the month and it has been a game changer for me, I am already done, and I did pick some stuff out from the charity shop, classics for friends and family, a good cause all round. It also means that you get to kick your feet up without disturbing the blissful days between Christmas and New Year that mean nothing but lazy days ahead.
