Let’s wear coats again! Coats are pretty much the only item I look forward to shopping in the sales post Christmas. Not that I need anymore but this is not the arena to address those concerns babe, focus! COATS! Glorious coats in all shapes and silhouettes. I splurged on that COS coat this season, you know the one, I bought the navy in the black Friday sales and the camel in the boxing day sales. I love a good coat, there is not a winter season that goes by that I do not buy a coat or three, I exaggerate not and at this rate I am likely not going to buy a coat for another season or two… do not hold me to those standards please and if you catch me talking about another coat come December, mind your business, read the blog post and face your front.

a more refined take on the puffer jacket; all jacket no puff with style to boot. This is one I was not sure about wading into but I love this silhouette so much.

Coats are one of those items of clothing that brands be it high street or high fashion really put a sock into when making, they go wild and do all kinds of funny things. Take that COS coat for example; it’s a wool duffle coat with a hood and styles as a trench; it’s a truly wonderful coat and remarkable it in its fit. Its perfect for any outfit be it joggers of a dress up type situation. Can you tell I love the coat, I love a good coat and this season brands are giving us just what we need.

If there is one coat colour that should be present in your wardrobe, its not camel, its not black its grey. And that’s all I will say on that. A true neutral. This one from COS.

every wardrobe deserves a coat with a bit of an attitude, proper rich woman vibe and this one from Zara gives it.
And now that the sales are on, it is a good time to invest in a good coat so go forth and reinvest or shop your wardrobe because I am certain you have something similar that works with the options above.
