FOR THE CHILDREN

Why won’t anyone please think of the children!? When it comes to children, young children that is, I prefer to give gifts that veer into the non – tech kind because screen time is really not a phrase I like being associated with children. I know, I know, needs must when distractions ought to be had to save parents from hyper active children, and I speak from a novice point of view, but where I can I like to stick with things outside of tech stuff. I am that aunt. Even as an adult trying to reduce screen time, I feel a need to always actively encourage children away from screen and engaged otherwise.

LEGO

Nothing absorbs a child’s attention like a good old fashion quest of Lego that demands to be solved. I already got this for my nephew.

Wooden Toys

I have fallen in love with Anavrin products, they are perfect for adults and children alike, perfect for the entire family to do together.

Books

Books, glorious books, pop up books, interactive books and simply fun books… books are always, always a fine idea for children. Always

Playstation

Okay fine, spoil them with one tech thing; play station, this is one of those times I love to watch my nephews play together… despite the risk of WWIII breaking out.

HERE

House Slippers

Because children are never not being wayward going barefoot everywhere hence we can only hope to curb that with house slippers.

HERE

Musical Books

Nothing signals christmas like the nutcracker but this is not merely the storybook, but also the music is embedded. Perfect gift.

The Circus

I am a sucker for the gift of a good play circus, it sparks their interactivity and curiosity and nothing more magical intrigues than when a child eyes and mind come together.

HERE

Train Set

I love a train set for children, it is akin to the ideal gift for children and parents, a special bond is formed somewhat as they go into their own world, taking an epic journey all their own.

HERE

Crocs

Because nothing is cuter than kids in crocs or crocs on children…
