In summer, we shed the weight and drop the bulk; there’s no need for lugging so many things around when we have to contend with the heat. So drop the leather, tack on the canvas, grab a book, a note book, your phone, sun screen, lip balm and you are good to go. I love a good summer bag change as we switch the wardrobe for the season, I love a good canvas tote because they usher in the season so perfectly. If the tote is not your thing, gets a crossbody… am I the only one who always feels like I am missing something without a large tote? I’ve tried, I have really tried with the crossbody and its hard to get on board, but maybe this is the season I succeed who knows. In any case, we are jettisoning the weight of the spring and winter and ushering in the lightness of the summer. Take a load off.
