This is not so much a window as it is a store front because brands, especially with their stand alone stores are often at a disadvantage somewhat because of the range of products to play with; as opposed to the department stores that can flex their muscle which is why I am always harder on them. But this is Ralph Lauren and this was not okay.
I feel like the brand plays it safe every year. Relyinf heavily on its iconic status as an all American icon so if need not do much in terms of decoration it can simply slap on wreaths and trees outside its stores. Toss in some red ribbons and sparkling lights and it’s all good. It’s not. Especially with the amount of real estate outside the store it’s simply not. Especially once you see what Cartier has done to its store it’s simply not good enough.

It’s lazy. Sure it has some Christmas magic to it but this is Ralph Lauren not some Lay about brand. It’s gotta be lifted. Especially opposite that Cartier store that brings it every single year. We’ve got to do better.
