Mac Lip Pots

I have a confession to make, I am a lip gloss addict. Well I’m an addict of too many things, but lip gloss is right up there with handbags because a girl can never have too many of either. I can’t remember how or when, but lip glosses just became the thing and we have not looked back ever since. At the moment I am not loyal to one specific brand, from YSL, to Dior, Bobbi Brown to Lancome and all its juicy tubes, I’ll buy a magazine not for the content but for the free lip gloss because, you know, that’s just what you do!

My current obsession however, is the lip moisturiser from MAC Cosmetics. Three little magical fat round pots that smell divine and work a charm. I’ll confess this about MAC; their lip glosses are not all that, pretty colours sure but they leave that awful white residue on your lips after a while, on mine at least, so I stopped buying their glosses for a while until a friend forced my hand into trying these conditioners.ย I started with just one for a road test because I was weary of that chalky white residue on my lips. After 48 hours I was pleased to see it worked a treat without leaving anything behind. Of course I had to have some more.

Rich in SPF 15 and in a variety three colours; ย I bought the Soothing Beige, Petting Pink and Fuschia Fix, you’ll be pretty pleased with it too. They soften the lips and keep it moist without drying it out. They give that subtle glow, a touch of shine and pinch of colour depending on how liberally you apply it, without being too sticky or glossy and they last a while. Each pot contains; Avocado Extract, Shea Butter, Almond Oil, Wheat Germ Oil and Vitamin A&E. They are pretty addictive because they are so handy to have around. At ยฃ11 a pop, its worth the buy.
