I love a woman that inspires me to be the best of me and to always know that whatever life throws at me I can either wallow in self pity or pick myself up and get over it. Ellen would rather I just got over it and keep on moving. This is one of the many reasons she inspires me and one of the many reasons you should follow her, she is inspirational company. And I always get the sense that the word IMPOSSIBLE is not in her vocabulary, matter of fact there is no room for impossibilities only POSSIBILITIES in Ellen’s world. Her story makes me believe that anything is possible if you put your mind to it…and let’s not forget; get over your funk, dust yourself up and keep on stepping. You just gotta love her for that. I do.

1. What is the one thing we wouldn’t believe about you?
That I hate being the center of attention.
2. If you could go back to one moment in your life, what would it be and why?
The one time I ignored a sick feeling in my stomach about a person who turned out to be poison, i never ignored my gut again.
3. In high school you were a geek, rebel, or past of the cool posse
I was artsy fartsy like I am now.  I am anti click then and now.  I like people who are different and in my experience cool people don’t exist, I like real people. I was never cool and I hope I never am.  I also think that the real saying is “The geek shall inherit the earth”
4. What is your most prized material possession and why?
iphone- it connects me to everything. It makes my business mobile, keeps me in touch with my people in biz and family.  It is a camera, it is video, it is a creative tool that keeps me relevant.
5. Happiness on your terms…
Happiness on my terms means having freedom. The freedom to create via my own process is the only way I am able to monetize my ideas. I don’t believe in 9-5, I work when it’s needed. I need constant inspiration to stay ahead of the pack. That could mean a walk through a store, a visit to a museum, or googling an idea.
